Interested in cord-cutting but still want to watch pay-per-views of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)?

In the United States, UFC PPVs are only available to subscribers of ESPN+. Subscribers also have access to other UFC programs, like UFC Fight Nights and Dana White's Contender Series.

Since ESPN+ is a subscription-based video streaming service, it isn’t available on DirecTV, Verizon Fios, Comcast, and other cable and satellite TV providers.

UFC PPVs are also available on UFC Fight Pass, a subscription-based video streaming service owned by UFC. Another way to stream UFC PPVs (via ESPN+) is to get the Hulu + Live TV bundle, which includes ESPN+.

In this article, we’ll introduce you to the different ways to watch UFC live. We’ll also help you determine which option is right for your budget, device, and entertainment needs.

Is ESPN+ Available on Cable or Satellite TV?

ESPN+ is a subscription-based video streaming service, which means it isn’t available on cable or satellite TV. To watch programs that are exclusive to ESPN+ (like UFC pay-per-views), you’ll have to sign up for the service. Note that it’s only available in the United States.

Subscribing to ESPN+ gives your ESPN app a major upgrade as it unlocks other exclusive live sports events, such as NHL games, as well as hundreds of college football and basketball games.

Can I Buy a UFC Pay-Per-View and Watch It Later?

According to ESPN, you can buy a UFC PPV in advance and replay it later when the fight is over. Replays are available for about 15 days after the event. Note that you’ll have to wait for about 90 minutes after the UFC PPV ends before you can access the replay on the ESPN app.

What is the Best Way for Me to Watch UFC PPVs?

The answer would depend on your budget, your preferred devices, and other programs and sports you’re interested in watching.

The most straightforward way to unlock UFC PPV fights would be to subscribe to ESPN+. The subscription-only costs $6.99 a month. You’ll also gain access to hundreds of college football and NCAA games, plus live streams of baseball, hockey, boxing, golf, tennis, soccer, and other sports. Most major devices support ESPN+ and you can even watch it on Oculus Go.

You can also watch UFC PPVs on UFC Fight Pass for only $9.99 a month or $95.99 a year. UFC Fight Pass is the best option if you’re a diehard MMA or combat sports fan, as there are numerous exclusive UFC and MMA on-demand programs to stream. Most popular devices also support UFC Fight Pass.

The last option—Hulu + Live TV—is the priciest option at $69.99 a month. But this is bundled with Disney+ and ESPN+. Aside from giving you access to UFC PPVs, you also get to enjoy countless sports, news, educational, and entertainment programs from Hulu’s 75-plus channels. Most major devices are supported and multiple streaming options are available.
